South West Coast Path Gallery
There are several little galleries here to show the different sections, how they vary and the changes in counties from Poole to Minehead.
Dorset Coast - Poole to Lyme Regis
Poole - Swanage - Kimmeridge - Lulworth Cove - Weymouth - Isle of Portland - Abbotsbury - Burton Bradstock - Seatown - Lyme Regis
Hard to say when exactly we did these bits - we started in 1997 over various bits of the Purbecks and did the Lyme Regis parts in 2004. The photos from the early stages were 'pre-digital' and so until we reach Lyme, they are from the internet to highlight some of my favourite spots along the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site between Poole and Exmouth. I walk somewhere in the Purbecks at least once a month.

South Devon Coast - Lyme Regis to Plymouth
Seaton - Beer - Sidmouth - Budleigh Salterton - Exmouth - Torquay - Brixham - Dartmouth - Salcombe - Bibgbury - Wembury - Plymouth
I know these parts really well, as I lived in Dawlish and Exeter for years, and my sister Linda (the best sister in the world) lives in Exmouth. We stayed in Lyme (2004) for the bits to Beer, and at Linda's for the bits to Torquay (2009). We had a few days in Dartmouth in 2005, rented a lovely cottage in Salcombe with the gang (2006), and covered the Plymouth legs whilst staying in a cottage at Kingsand on the Devon/Cornwall border in 2010.

South Cornwall Coast - Cremyll to Falmouth
Kingsand and Cawsand - Looe - Polperro - Polruan - Fowey - Charlestown - Mevagissey - Portloe - Portscatho - Place - Falmouth
Done over lovely stays in Polperro (2007), Kingsand (2010), Mevagissey (2012) and one in Falmouth, where we joined the original Abbey Life group back in the day (2000). The stretch near Cremyll was done on a very, very wet and windy day on Pete's birthday. We just got dry about 10 mins from the car when it pee'd down again and soaked us once more for good measure.

South Cornwall Coast - Falmouth to Land's End
Helford Passage - Coverack - The Lizard - Poldhu Cove - Porthleven - Marazion - Penzance - Mousehole - Porthcurno - Land's End
Includes some of my favourite stretches, and the fabulous apartments at Acton Castle near Marazion where we stayed in April and November 2008, repeating some stretches. I can't honestly remember when we did these bits for the first time (early 2000's?), but we have walked all around here many times (including drunk and in the dark, which is probably why I can't remember!)

North Cornwall Coast - Land's End to Bude
Sennen Cove - Pendeen Watch - Zennor - St Ives - Portreath - St Agnes - Newquay - Padstow - Port Isaac - Boscastle - Bude
More of my favourite stretches. We have walked this part many times. I love Zennor, Boscastle and the mining heritage. This area is packed with neolithic history too: quoits, fogous ('underground earth houses'), hut circles and settlement sites, stone circles, standing stones, cairns and tumuli galore.

North Devon and some Somerset Coast - Bude to Minehead
Hartland Quay - Clovelly - Westward Ho! - Bideford - Croyde - Ilfracombe - Lynton & Lynmouth- Porlock Weir - Minehead
Some really challenging and stunning walking here, which we did in 2004 and 2005. Pete and I did the recce for the last leg to Minehead and I have never been allowed to forget the fact that I told everyone there was no pub at the lunch stop into Minehead at Porlock Weir. In fact there are two!!
